A new Yulbiz Baby: Yulbiz San Francisco is born
5,January 2009
Via a Facebook Status update from Stephane Delbecque and a Tweet from Michelle Blanc that I discovered this news.
I am so happy, blessed and surprised, (all at the same time!) about the launch of Yulbiz San Francisco. What a great achievement! The most surprising part is that this idea grew out of a dinner after the Montreal Marketing Association Conference about Web Innovation in 2.0 on October 8, 2008. which not-so-secret objective is to bridge the gap between the 2.0 Mecca (Silicon Valley) and the talent hub in Montreal. And put Montreal on the Map!
Get a sneak peek at Stephane Delbecque’s presentation on Innovation in Mobile.
Watch the images of this conference about Innovation in 2.0 on flickr.
This also means, that every similar initiative will grow the relationship between Silicon Valley and Montreal. All that free work is not for nothing! Look at the Status Updaters here:

Again, thanks a lot for inviting me to this conference last October. I not only had the opportunity to speak there but also to meet with great people.
By organizing this, you totally have a share in the birth of Yulbiz SF. But the first ones to congratulate are the Yulbiz inventors. With a great concept and such fantastic personalities, I had no choice but try to make Yulbiz a success in SF too. Best,

@Stephane Delbecque: You are right. In my excitement I forgot to directly congratulate Michelle Blanc (http://www.michelleblanc.com/) and Philippe Martin (http://www.nayezpaspeur.ca/blog/). I did via tagging their name though and trackbacks
.
All the best!
