Who said consulting can’t be tricky?

How do you react to this job interview? Really? This interview is pretty tricky. The candidates look as thrilled as ever, and, except for the “Monkey Business” guy, all seem to stay a bit “uptight” to make sure to nail that job interview aimed at “MBAs”.
I like the edgy aspect of the Born to Consult marketing campaign chosen by Deloitte marketing, especially the category chosen on Youtube:

Interests and Hobbies: racking up hotel points, monkey cups, thai food, consulting

The return: 145, 800 views and 122 comments.  Whether viewers liked it or not, they commented on it, ( and it might have polarized some people),  but the buzz went on  and on… It was favorited 256  times.

As a freshly-minted consultant, I didn’t know what to expect from the video. It’s very funny, and a nice piece of work by Deloitte. Who knew, an accounting firm has a sense of humour!

It is really interesting to get a real consultant feedback on that video. YouTube feedback, while abundant (122 comments), is hard to evaluate, since when you do not own the content, you can not track the demographics via Insights.
Thank you for your feedback Mark.

I can imagine a company which organize an interview with a kid like this. It would be very disturbing.

BTW, Youtube Insight can give you some information about the age and the country of people who watch the video. It’s not sharp as Google Analytics, but it’s useful.
