My business wish list for 2010

I am replying to Chris Brogan December 5, 2009 “Business wish list for 2010″ chain. He answer to a simple question: ” What do I want the world to bring me for business in 2010?”
For my blogging, I wish to develop more deep dive studies on mobility, retail e-commerce and business modeling which are three fields of e-business that I have started specializing in during my Masters degree in e-commerce @HECMontréal
For speaking engagements via Ahora solutions: I will give more conferences, trainings and participate to more panels to share my experience, my expertise, my studies and my B2B hands-on internet marketing newly found niche. I was not expecting to pioneer the Canadian B2B web marketing and social media marketing when I joined a B2B firm. Not at all. I realized at the B2B APCM conference that Canadian B2B enterprises are still in the obscurity… And that there is a limited number of knowledgeable experts who have actually walked the B2B web marketing talk. There are so many “gurus” who do not implement their recommendations. That is scary. I am a strong believer in the do-ers who talk about how they achieved their success, even if infinitesimal. You can’t spend you day thinking about keynotes but not applying, testing and sweating.
I have accumulated so much hands-on applicative and strategic knowledge from working at Kissfilms/Jetfilms, Quebecor, at Canoe.ca (shortly, at Yahoo.ca, Flickr.com that I feel like the story has not been told to the world at all and that I have been keeping all that good information to myself. Greedy little me. That was not on purpose, and I will make sure to respond positively speaking engagement. I am known to be slow on the dialing back. I just receive too much spam on Facebook and I am really slow on the phone – an interaction system that just does not fit a 100% with my personality.
For my current job @DeloitteCanada where I am the Head of online marketing, I wish that our integrated marketing campaigns grow in success. That initiatives like the www.tmtpredictions.ca , www.deloitte.ca/fast50 and www.deloitte.ca/myTMT #myTMT continue to florish, that the enterprise engage deeper in the online conversation and the richness of the learning related to that.
For my passion: because I think my other passions in life impact my profound business passion of being an Internet marketer focused on innovation, my hobbies: surfing, meditating, jogging, making and listening to music, cooking vegetarian food and yoga need to grow in importance in order for me to grow as a person. I wish growth in quality time spent fulfilling my 2010 hobbies dream and I wish to add another one in 2010: becoming fluent in the spanish language in 2010.
My list might not be a long as Chris Brogan’s… Now to you. What is your Business wish list for 2010?
