Afraid of the ghost of change?

There is lots of realness in this presentation which I think could be called “Why do we need change management strategies” or “why everybody can’t be a “disruptor” ” or even “How social networks can serve as organizational agents of change” and innovation.  The presentation below entitled “Smarter Work : Why social networks matter”  is interesting in the way it drafts the thought process around change and the role that social networks can take.  Thanks to @PhilippeMartin for sharing this on his blog.

  • Innovators challenge their boundaries.
  • Innovators reinvent themselves via changing certain habits or via making the habit of change.
  • Innovators or early adopters put some “spice” in their coffee everyday.
  • Innovators give themselves a little dose of “electric shock” or “shock therapy” every now and then.
  • Innovators look at the ghost of change in the eyes and say “boo” and go ahead and walk on it.

This is some good food for thought about what changes can you or not implement in your life.

Ask yourself: Can i reinvent myself? If not, why can’t I?

Can I re-engineering my brain, my habits and my train of thoughts?

Can I do reverse engineering of my whole life?

Why am I too stuck in my rut?

What am I scared of?

What is the worse case scenario?

Merci Julie.
