[Startups] Big. Ass. Rule.

The International startup festival held in July in Montreal was a great opportunity to meet with great business minds and get crucial information on what to prioritize and what to focus on for your business venture aka startup.  Since this event, I am still thinking about the Big Ass Rule. Yes, i know it sounds like a joke but the allegory is so strong that a month later, it is still floating in my mind.

One of Jeff Clavier’s  (@jeffclavier & @jeff ) key insight during his presentation was the need for an enterprise (often at the startup phase) to have the 3 magic ingredients, thus, the Big Ass Rule:

1) a kiss ass team
2) in a big ass market
3) and a kick ass product

3 Key ingredients for Business success for Startups

Great and fun allegory supported by a picture.  For Jeff Clavier’s blog, you can check him out here: http://blog.softtechvc.com/     Also, check out all the  International Startup Festival pictures, a blessing from @Heri from enterprising.ly

Indeed! This is pretty useful and one wonders if the market is Big enough or the product is kick ass enough. All good food for thought. Good luck in your endeavours? What’s your product focus?
