In 2008, here are the top blog post that caught your interest, 9 out of 10 are in french. I am always surprised to see that the Top 1, L’évolution du commerce de détail: l’industrie du vêtement, that speaks about the Evolution of the retail industry and the future of the clothing industry with emerging new business models, having more of a social media focus is certainly a trend to watch.

While interesting, it does not fully aggregate the deep shopping Web. When I look for Nacara Cosmetics (http://www.nacaracosmetics.com/), which is a small brand originating from Montreal (and, yes, it is the foundation that I use… I could add one of my best kept secrets). The Montreal Marketing Association First Conference that took place on October 8, 2008 on Innovation in Web 2.0 showcased four speakers prolific in their respective area of specialization. Hugh McGuire from Librivox broke the ice and presented the audio books community, then Stéphane Delbecque from Six Apart spoke about mobile and blogging technologies, Robyn Tippins from the Yahoo! Developer Network spoke about the application ecosystem and the openness around Yahoo! and the broad reach of the developer Network.
